Volunteer Social Media Strategist

Ladies Night PDX is a community of womxn who gather together to learn, network and help each advance in our careers and lives. The magic is in the power of our community. 

We’re looking for a Volunteer Community Manager with previous experience managing client communities. You are able to collaborate with the director team to develop and execute social media strategy, in line with our brand strategy, and develop new ideas for execution on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

You have a passion for engaging with diverse communities of womxn and developing collaborative partnerships. You have a keen interest in culture, events within the tech and creative industries, and programs that support other womxn and aim to help them rise in both their careers and lives. 

Key Responsibilities:

◦ Develop and execute a social media strategy and content calendar for Ladies Night PDX social channels: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

◦ Concept new content for social media, including takeovers, and support the execution and publishing.

◦ Listen and respond to community comments on social channels, effectively managing the conversation.

◦ Engage with with diverse communities and help us expand our reach into the wider Portland community.
